Introduction To Weave A Creative Piece Workshop All Day Saturday and as a special introduction, at the end of the day as a gift from me to you, you will get to keep your very own weaving frame and woven piece.

Have you ever wanted to learn the art of weaving? This hands-on workshop is designed to introduce you to foundational weaving skills using a simple frame loom. By the end of the class, you will not only have crafted a beautiful handmade piece and also gained the knowledge to pursue your interest in weaving independently.
On this workshop, you’ll learn:
- The fundamentals of weaving, including an introduction to weaving on a frame loom.
- Step-by-step instructions on setting up and winding the warp, laying the foundation.
- Techniques for weaving the weft, embracing the freedom to experiment with colours and textures on our frame loom.
- Guidance on problem-solving and troubleshooting common weaving challenges, ensuring a smooth and fulfilling creative process.
What will I leave with?
By the end of the workshop, you’ll depart with a rigid heddle weaving frame, two shuttles and your very own decorative piece — it will be a piece of art made by your own hands. Specifically, you’ll take away:
